In a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who serve as firefighters, Firehouse Subs hosted its annual “Touch-the-Truck” events across various locations on Sunday, May 4, 2025, coinciding with International Firefighters’ Day. Firehouse Subs locations in Amarillo, Texas, participated actively in the celebration. The Wolflin Square restaurant at 1901 South Georgia Street welcomed visitors from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., while the Soncy Road location at 3450 S. Soncy Road, Suite #100, opened its doors from noon to 2 p.m.
In Yulee, Florida, the Wildlight Village Firehouse Subs at 40 Homegrown Way hosted its event from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., inviting families to explore fire trucks and interact with local firefighters.

The “Touch-the-Truck” events provided attendees with a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with firefighting equipment. Children and adults alike explored fire trucks, learned about the tools of the trade, and engaged in conversations with the heroes who operate them.
