Kentucky’s Record-Breaking Powerball was Sold by Georgetown Retailers

-

A $167.3 million ticket was sold at Clark’s Pump N Shop in the history of Kentucky.  The winning numbers drawn Saturday night were 1, 12, 14, 18, 69, and Powerball 2.

Breaking Previous Records

This jackpot surpasses the previous state record of $128.6 million, set in December 2009 with a ticket sold at ProTravel Marathon, also in Georgetown. Kentucky’s last Powerball jackpot win occurred in 2010 in Simpsonville.

Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Mary Harville remembered the win as a historic moment for the lottery, its retailers, and players.

“This is truly another historic moment for the Kentucky Lottery, our retailers, and more importantly, our players,”

said Harville.

Who’s the winner?

The identity of the lucky ticket holder has not yet been made public. There are different reasons for keeping the winner’s identity hidden from the public.
