Pakistan’s Military Asserts Two Indian Air Force Jets Shot Down

Pakistan’s military has confirmed that it shot down two Indian Air Force aircraft during recent clashes. Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, a spokesperson for the Pakistani military, shared the information with CNN’s Jim Sciutto, stating,

“Two confirmed Indian Air Force aircraft have already been shot down. There are also reports of additional damage inflicted by Pakistani forces, both on the ground and in the air. But I can confirm at least two aircraft have been downed.”

However, CNN has not independently verified Chaudhry’s claims regarding the downed planes and is reaching out to the Indian Ministry of Defence for an official response.
